CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Membcrs Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: None. <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Sylvia Frolik <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Olson to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced the following: <br /> · Transportation meeting tomorrow night at from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Conexus <br /> Energy dealing with the Highway 10 Corridor. <br /> · Itappy Days starts Friday, September 16th with a dance at Lord of Life Church, followed <br /> by a full day of activities on Saturday, September 17th. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Nancy Richard Hillary, 17290 Tiger Street NW, stated she would like to request that the Council <br />expand the website to provide residents with a more direct communication option. She would <br />like consideration of the Councilmembers including their home phone numbers or emails on the <br />website. The reason for this request is due to an extremely frustrating encounter she had in July. <br />At that time she submitted a letter to the City, requesting that it be distributed to the Council.
