CoLmCiimcmbcr Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-07-244 <br /> <br />RESOI.UTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR T. H. #47 <br />PEDESTRIAN UNDERPASS <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />spcci/ications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for T.H. #47 Pedestrian Underpass, <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on July 26, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the following bids were received for T.H. #47 Pedestrian Underpass <br /> <br />Bidder <br />I.andwchr Construction <br />Jay BI'OS., Inc. <br /> <br />Enginccrs Estilnate <br /> <br /> Bid $ <br />$352,639.00 <br />$361,054.05 <br /> <br />$330,000.00 <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Landwehr Construction, Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for T.H. <br />IJ47 Pedestrian Underpass in the amount of $352,639.00. <br /> <br />q'hc motion For adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />[;lvig, and upon vote being taken theron, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councihnember Cook <br />(:ouncilmcn'~ber Elvig <br />(',ounci hnember Jeffrey <br />(iouncilmember Olson <br />(:ouncilmember Pearson <br />(:ouncilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and thc/bllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 05-07-244 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
