Cotmci ltncmber Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-244A <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION ENTERING INTO A LIMITED USE PERMIT FOR NON-MOTORIZED <br />RECilEATIONAL TRAIL WITH THE STATE OF MINNESTOA DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS; The City of Ramsey is proposing to construct and maintain a non- <br />n ~otorizcd pedestrian underpass within the Trunk Highway No. 47 right-of-way in the vicinity of <br />162'~'~ Avenue Northwest, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS; the permitting process for the Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />requires that the City of Ramsey signs the attached Limited Use Permit for Non-motohzed <br />Pedestrian Trail, which lists special provisions that the City of Ramsey will abide by during the <br />construction, maintenance and operation of the pedestrian underpass and non-motorized <br />rccrcalion trail in the Trunk Highway No. 47 right-of-way. <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka <br />County, State of Minnesota: <br /> <br />~l'hc Mayor and Assistant Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into the attached Limited Use Permit for non-motorized <br />recreation trail with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />Thc motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councihnember <br />}!lvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />(!o uncilmcmber Cook <br />(:ouncihnember Elvig <br />('ouncihnember Jeffrey <br />Councihnember Olson <br />Councihnember Pearson <br />CouncJ hncmber Strommen <br /> <br />And the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />]N]OI1G <br /> <br />And the I'ollowing abstained: <br /> <br />NOlle <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-244A <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
