Cotmcihncmber Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-07-227 R ES O l J UTI ON OI/D ERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #02-40 (SANITARY SEWER WATERMAIN AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS TO OAK TERRACE ESTATES MOBILE HOME PARK) AND CALLING FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WI 1E REAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted July 12, 2005, a revised feasibility study for hnprovement Project #02-40 Sanitary Sewer Watermain and Storm Sewer i tnprovcmcnt to Oak Terrace Estates Mobile Home Park has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Enginccr; and WilEI~tEAS, a resolution of City Council adopted on July 12, 2005 fixed a date for a council hearing t)n thc proposed improvement; and WI! EI~tEAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and thc public hearing was held thereon on the 26th day of July, 2005, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That thc improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the t-casibility study report. 2) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this Council resolution. 3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. 4) That tiao cngineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvcmcnt. ri'ho motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilrnember Olson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councihnember Cook Councihnember Olson Councihnember Elvig (;ouncilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Pearson C, ouncihnen~ber Strommen and thc I¥11owing voted against the same: RESOLUTION #05-07-227 Page 1 of 2
