She was also named chair of the <br />Intergovernmental and Community Relations and Public Safety committees. She was named vice <br />chair of the Finance and Capital Improvements and Management committees. <br />"It is truly an honor and a privilege to be re-elected by my colleagues to serve as the vice <br />chair of our County Board," Braastad said. "I am looking forward to seeing the great work our <br />board will accomplish in 2022." <br />Braastad will serve on the Human Services, Transportation, Benefits and Compensation, <br />Regional Economic Development Executive, Ag Preservations Credit Ad Hoc, and Association of <br />Minnesota Counties (AMC) Public Safety Policy Committees. She will also serve on the North <br />TH 65 Corridor Coalition; Board of Oversight of Court -Appointed Attorneys; Joint Law <br />Enforcement Council; Midwest Regional Forensic Laboratory Advisory Board; Anoka County <br />Regional Railroad Authority; and the Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority. <br />Braastad is an alternate for the AMC Board of Directors and the AMC District 10 Executive <br />Committee.
