ADMINISTRATION <br />Communications <br />iioatiion <br />January 6, 2022 <br />Contact: Erik Thorson, Communications Director, 763-324-4612, or e-mail: <br />Erik.Thorsonco.anoka.mn.us <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br />Commissioner Jeff Reinert Named to Anoka County Committees <br />Commissioner Jeff Reinert was named chair of the Human Services and Airport <br />committees, co-chair of the Anoka County/Blaine Airport Joint Powers Board and vice chair of <br />the Intergovernmental and Community Relations, Information Technology and Parks committees <br />at the Jan. 4 Anoka County Board of Commissioners organizational meeting. <br />He will serve on the Management, Transportation and Association of Minnesota Counties <br />(AMC) Health and Human Services Policy committees, as well as the Anoka County -Blaine <br />Airport Advisory Commission; East Central Regional Juvenile Center Advisory Board; Anoka <br />County Regional Railroad Authority; Children and Family Council Governing Board; the Anoka <br />County Housing and Redevelopment Authority; and the Centennial Community Network and <br />Centennial Community Services consortiums. He will serve as an alternate Library Board liaison. <br />Reinert is on the AMC Board of Directors and is the AMC District 10 Executive Committee <br />Director. He is also an AMC District 10 voting delegate. <br />"I am very pleased with my committee assignments, and that my colleagues have entrusted <br />me with an increased level of responsibility for 2022," Reinert said. "I enjoy working with each <br />of them and value the relationships I have built at the county over the last couple years.
