ADMINISTRATION Communications January 6, 2022 Contact: Erik Thorson, Communications Director, 763-324-4612, or e-mail: Erik.Thorsonco.anoka.mn.us FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Commissioner Matt Look Named to Anoka County Committees Commissioner Matt Look was named chair of the Finance and Capital Improvements and Internal Audit committees and vice chair of the Transportation Committee at the Jan. 4 Anoka County Board of Commissioners organizational meeting. Look was also elected chair of the Anoka County Regional Railroad Authority at the Authority's Jan. 4 organizational meeting. Look will serve on the Property Records and Taxation, Ag Preservations Credit Ad Hoc, Anoka County Extension, and Association of Minnesota Counties (AMC) Transportation and Infrastructure Policy committees. He will serve as the facilitator of both the Solid Waste Abatement Advisory Team and the Waste Haulers Roundtable group. He was also named to the Regional Haulers Licensing Board; Metropolitan Council Transportation Advisory Board; Facilities Management and Construction Subcommittee; Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority; and the Northwest Anoka County Community Consortium/Youth First Community of Promise. Look is an alternate on the Law Library Board of Trustees and is an AMC District 10 voting delegate. "I've served on various committees of the Anoka County Board for 12 years, and I will continue to use what I've learned during that time to represent and support the citizens of Anoka County," Look said.
