· At one of the City Council meetings, a concern was mentioned regarding poor visibility when <br /> leaving Station #2. Firefighters have not experienced poor visibility. <br /> <br />,IULY 4TM WEEKEND COVERAGE <br /> <br />· Chief Kapler took a show of hands for coverage availability for the weekend before and after <br /> thc 4~' of July. <br /> <br />STATION #1 <br /> <br />· Maps are in the process of being installed by Officer Sharp and Firefighter Minear. <br /> <br />· There are 25 maps available for mutual aid. <br /> <br />· Thc office and training room will be painted and then cubicles will be installed. <br /> <br />· A new TV will be purchased for Station #1, as well as a new VCR for each station. The TV <br /> currently at Station #1 will be moved to the conference room at Station #2. <br /> <br />STATI(}N #2 <br /> <br />· Maps have been installed. <br /> <br />· Phone jacks are in, phones will be installed this week. <br /> <br />· A thx machine will be purchased. A copy machine is in place and working in the office area. <br />· Qwest is to locate the lines for access to Central Communications. <br /> <br />RESCUE TRUCK <br /> <br />· l:inancing options will be discussed with the Finance Officer for lights, siren and radio costs. <br />ELK btIVER LIONS <br /> <br />· Thc defibrillator purchased by the Elk River Lions has been delivered and will be in service <br /> soon. Representatives from the Department, dressed in uniform, will attend a Lions' meeting <br /> to personally thank them for the defibrillator. <br /> <br />FIRE EXTINGUISHER SERVICE <br /> <br />· At least one extinguisher is brought in every Thursday for service. <br /> <br />· [f'a loaner extinguisher is given, a $25 deposit is held until the extinguisher is returned. <br /> <br /> FIRE DEPARTMENT/JUNE 13~ 2001 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
