· The generator has been installed and is operating. <br /> <br />· There is enough equipment to get the truck in service soon. Rescue equipment will be taken <br /> offf other vehicles in order to place Rescue #1 in service. <br /> <br />· Rescue #2 will continue to carry the cascade system and Rescue #1 may be used as a <br /> command vehicle. <br /> <br />· Rescue #2 is now in service for rescue response. Numbers will be changed soon to reflect <br /> ~'R2". <br /> <br />PUBLIC SAFETY BOARD <br /> <br />· A meeting will be scheduled soon. A new citizen at large is needed to be a part of the board. <br /> <br />· l)iscussion will include rescue boat purchase, permit fees of $20 rather than by cubic foot, <br /> and the need of a Board of Appeal for the Fire Prevention Program. <br /> <br />BIJI)GET <br /> <br />Mccting last Monday went well. Items discussed were Rescue #1 equipment and Ariel <br />apparatus purchase will commence in the year 2002. Anyone interested in being on a truck <br />committee should advice Chief # 1. <br /> <br />COMMERCIAL BUILDING RESPONSE <br /> <br />Officers discussed having the 2"a fire department truck on the scene, report to the Fire <br />l)epartment connections at commercial structures with sprinkler systems.
