NEW bTRE FIGHTER UPDATE <br /> <br />· Officer Lewandowski requested officers to help the new firefighters when he is not at the <br /> station. <br /> <br />RA DI0,%71',4 GERS <br /> <br />· All batteries have been reconditioned. <br /> <br />° Pagers have been issued to the new firefighters. <br /> <br />7RAINING <br /> <br />· September training included the Chief's Mass Causality Drill, S.T.A.R.T. Review, and class <br /> portion of Pump Operations. <br /> <br />· October training includes Pump Test, Radio/Communication and the 2nd class of Confined <br /> Space Rescue. <br /> <br />· Make up class for AED Refresher will be after the Business Meeting on October 10, 2001. <br /> <br />· State Fire Chiefs Conference is October 18th and 19th. If interested in attending, see Chief <br /> Kapler, there is one space available. <br /> <br />· Thc house the Department was going to burn is not available due to high levels of asbestos. <br />INCIDENT' REPOR 7' <br /> <br />· In September there were 31 calls, 12 were rescue, of which 0 was CO and 19 were fire. <br /> There were 7 day calls, 16 night calls and 8 weekend calls. There were 0 Mutual Aid calls. <br /> Total dollar damage was approximately $100,000. <br /> <br />· Year to date there has been 230 calls of which 64 were rescue of which 5 were CO and 159 <br /> were fire. There were 11 Mutual Aid calls. Total dollar damage is approximately $916,000. <br /> <br />· Reports are not being completely filled out. <br /> <br />UPCOMING EVENTS <br /> <br />· The annual banquet will be Saturday, October 27, 2001 at The Links of Northfork. <br /> <br />· The Department will have a truck in the Anoka Halloween Parade.
