FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, December 5, 2001, at <br />Ramsey Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />~]'here were fourteen firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />Chief Kapler gave an update on how Fire Fighter Karels is feeling. <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter reminded firefighters relief dues are due by the third Sunday in January <br />(January 20th). If dues are not in by then, the firefighter will lose their share of the 2001 relief <br />funds. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />TRA IN1NG <br /> <br />Officer Lemm reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />,, November training included Fire Alarms and Sprinklers and Confine Space Rescue. <br /> I)ecember training includes a live burn and a medical drill. <br /> <br /> January training includes Sexual Harassment Training, EMT Refresher and First Responder <br /> with testing being done in February. <br /> <br />· Officer Lemm asked each firefighter in attendance to rate the Tech School training and give <br /> their opinions on how the training could be improved. <br /> <br />· Officer Lemm will prepare a handout each month with the next month's training for <br /> fircfighters to review and list what their expectations are of the drills. <br /> <br />MA.10 R MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />° Engine #1 received new wiper blades. <br /> <br /> <br />
