Kapler will use those audits to report to <br /> <br /> l)eccmber training included Vitals Jeopardy and a Chief's Drill. <br />· At thc house burn, a new turnout coat and hood were charred. <br /> <br />· January training will include Power Line Safety, EMT Practice, CPR Refresher, Sexual <br /> I tarassment Training and Major Maintenance. <br /> <br />· Thc EMT test will be in February. <br /> <br />· New training this year includes Traffic Control, Railroad Safety and Helicopter Landing <br /> Zones. <br /> <br />· Suggestions were that Water Rescue would make a good Saturday drill and possibly have a <br /> Jeopardy drill based specifically on Ramsey. <br /> <br />· Officers should speak with Officer Lemm if they have other training ideas. <br /> <br /> Two new firefighters will start Fire Fighter I in January. <br /> <br />· It was suggested that officers should become Fire Fighter II State Certified. This would be <br /> incorporated in the job description. <br /> <br />· Officer Lemm suggested the Department start a mentor program for the new firefighters. <br /> Station Chiefs will choose mentors on a rotating basis, so new firefighters would learn <br /> various techniques from different firefighters. <br /> <br />AYA.JOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />()filter Weiss reviewed the Major Maintenance report. <br /> <br />· <br /> <br /> Tanker #1 foam unit compartment is rusted and needs repair. <br /> <br />· Grass #1 and #2 pumps have been drained and stabilizer added.
