FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />~l~hc Ramscy Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, February 13, 2002, at <br />Ramsey Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />There were fifteen firefighters in attendance. Discussion of traffic control during the Training <br />Report was added to the agenda. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />7 RAINING <br /> <br />Chief Kapler and Assistant Chief Hoxter reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· January training included Power Line Safety, EMT/First Responder Practice, CPR Refresher, <br /> Sexual Harassment Training and Major Maintenance. <br /> <br />° February training includes Traffic Control, Railroad Safety, and EMT Test. <br /> <br /> Traffic control opinions differ. The Department will take the policy that if there is any <br /> danger, shut down the road. There is concern in having traffic driving by the scene. <br /> <br />· All Department training and meetings will be held at Station #2. If you need to schedule a <br /> room at the station, see Chief Kapler or Officer Streich. <br /> <br />M,4.JO R M/I INTEN,4NC E <br /> <br />Officer Weiss reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />· Rescue #2 primer repaired by Emergency Apparatus. <br /> <br />° ~l'anker #2 driver side scene light repaired and a new light box installed. <br /> <br />° Grass #1 had a new battery installed. <br /> <br />° Gas Monitor is back in service. <br /> <br />° All nozzles now have pistol grips. <br /> <br /> <br />
