SOUTltWEST UNIVERSITY SURVEY <br /> <br />()f/icers received a crisis leadership survey from Southwest University focusing on Chiefs <br />and Assistant Chiefs. The Captains and Lieutenants will be filling out the survey to be <br />returned to Southwest University by April 12th. <br /> <br />IS() REVIEW <br /> <br />· Chiof Kapler will submit a formal request for a review. <br /> <br />MONTI ILY REPORTS <br /> <br />A,%'LW ?t NT' C/lIEF SIMPSON <br /> <br />(}re'age door at Station #1 is working, towels need to be folded; this could be done while <br />th'cfighters are at the station for a call. Firefighters are paid for one hour when reporting for <br />a call, they should not leave the station before they are released by the Duty Officer, and if <br />they do they will not get paid for attending the call. <br /> <br />· ri'raining calendaris updated. <br /> <br />· ()flicer Simpson would like to get a bid for painting the station and for taking out the floor <br /> humps. <br /> <br />A 5;5'L<;7 ;4 NT CHIEF I-IOXTER <br /> <br />· Thc audit found Station #2 acceptable. <br /> <br />· Training calendar is updated. <br /> <br />Turnout Gear grids need to be labeled and Officer Lemm would like a mailbox at Station #2. <br /> <br />In March there were 22 calls, 11 were rescue, of which 1 was CO and 11 were fire. There <br />were 14 day calls, 4 night calls and 4 weekend calls. There was 1 Mutual Aid call. There <br />was no dollar damage. <br /> <br />Year to date there has been 69 calls, 30 were rescue of which 4 were CO and 9 were <br />extrications and 39 were fire of which 11 were cancelled alarms. There were 3 Mutual Aid <br />calls. <br /> <br />· Average response time for rescue calls in March was 4.5 minutes, average attendance was 9 <br /> lire fighters and average time on the scene was 50 minutes. <br /> <br />Average response time for fire calls in January was 6.1 minutes, average attendance was 12 <br />lircfighters and average time on the scene was 51 minutes. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/APRIL 7, 2002 <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
