· Jeremy Collins will complete the work on Rescue #1. <br /> <br />· Towels, scrubbing brushes and squeegees need to be ordered. <br /> <br />ASSIS'TANT CHIEF HOXTER <br /> <br />· The audit found Station #2 acceptable. <br /> <br />· Training calendar is updated. <br /> <br />· Turnout Gear area gets dirty easy, firefighters need to be more conscience of maintenance. <br /> The floor needs a good scrubbing. <br /> <br />· Chip in the floor needs repair. <br /> <br />· Two broom handles, squeegees and floor cleaner need to be purchased. <br /> <br />· Maintenance room needs to be reorganized. <br /> <br />· A community service helper attended major maintenance night. <br /> <br />· State Reports for 2001 and through March. of 2002 have been comPleted~: The aSsistant.. :: '..'~ . <br /> chiefs are alternating months on completing the reports. Once more firefighters know how to <br /> file the reports and tile equipment is available at Station #2, they can,bedo~ne rightiift'er the '.;.:- '.: ': :, . <br /> call, which is the long term goal. <br /> <br /> Chict' Kapler handed out a truck checklist that firefighters should start using after each call · <br /> and put with the report. ' .... : <br /> <br />In May there were 25 calls, 6 were rescue, of which 0 were CO and 19 were fire. There were <br />l0 day calls, 7 night calls and 8 weekend calls. There were 2 Mutual Aid calls (1 given and 1 <br />received). Total dollar damage is approximately $250. <br /> <br />Year to date there has been 128 calls, 45 were rescue of which 4 were CO and 10 were <br />extrications and 83 were fire of which 19 were cancelled alarms. There were 6 Mutual Aid <br />calls. <br /> <br />· Average response time for rescue calls in May was 5.5 minutes, average attendance was 12 <br /> firefighters and average time on the scene was 40 minutes. <br /> <br />· Average response time for ~re calls in May was 6.7 minutes, average attendance was 15 <br /> firefighters and average time on the scene was 43 minutes. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/JUNE 2, 2002 <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
