· Seven back up batteries for the hand held radios are in stock. <br /> <br />· Engine #1 has a new hand held radio in the back. <br /> <br />· The FEMA grant application includes a complete change out of SCBA equipment. <br /> <br /> Fircfighters were reminded that checking SCBA bottles located on the vehicles is part of the <br /> after run checklist. <br /> <br />TURNOI IT GEA R/MAPS <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the Turnout Gear Report. <br /> <br />· rFurn out gear for Firefighters McKusick, Noreen and Sharp is here, Officer Lemm will verify <br /> with the firefighters that the gear has proper fit. <br /> <br />MI£DI( ML <br /> <br />Officer Lewandowski reviewed the Medical Report. <br /> <br />· Officer Lewandowski has CPR micro shields, see him if you need one. <br /> <br />· Thc new rescue pack is in Rescue #1. <br /> <br />INCIDENT REPORT <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the Incident Report <br /> <br />· /n June there were 28 calls, 4 were rescue, of which 0 were CO and 24 were fire. There were <br /> 8 day calls, 11 night calls and 9 weekend calls. There were 0 Mutual Aid calls. Total dollar <br /> damage is approximately $13,000. <br /> <br />· Year to date there has been 156 calls, 49 were rescue of which 4 were CO and 11 were <br /> extrications and 107 were fire of which 20 were cancelled alarms. There were 6 Mutual Aid <br /> calls. <br /> <br />· Average response time for rescue calls in June was 7 minutes, average attendance was 10 <br /> fircfighters and average time on the scene was 39 minutes. <br /> <br />· Average response time for fire calls in June was 9.7 minutes, average attendance was 15 <br /> firefighters and average time on the scene was 55 minutes. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT/JULY 10, 2002 <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
