FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />'1 he Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 9, 2002, at <br />Ramscy Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chic/' Kaplcr called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />~l'here were twenty-seven firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />Congratulations to Officers Lemm and Streich who received Fire Fighter II State Certification. <br />Congratulations to Firefighter Amundson who completed probation. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />7 'RAINING <br /> <br />Officer l~emm reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· September training included S.T.A.R.T. and Haz-Mat Medics Training, Chief's Drill and <br /> Hands on Pump Training. <br /> <br />. October training includes Pump Operations Test, Environmental Emergencies and viewing of <br /> various manufacturers SCBA equipment. <br /> <br />· November mandatory training will be RIT. <br /> <br />MA,JOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Officer Weiss reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />· Rear right strobe light on Tanker #2 was repaired. <br /> <br /> Foam system on Engine #1 is operable thanks to Firefighter Lecy. <br /> <br />· All pmnps past the annual pump test, once Engine #2 primer pump was repaired. <br /> <br />· Hose tower at Station #1 needs cleaning. <br /> <br />· Officer Weiss is aware of the paint problem on Engine #2. <br /> <br /> <br />
