TRAINING OFFICER <br /> <br />· Officer Lcmm handed out a list of drills since 1996. Each officer is to look over the list and <br /> select five drills they would like to see take place in 2003. <br /> <br />· October training included Pump Testing, Environmental Emergencies, SCBA <br /> Demonstrations and Major Maintenance Night. <br /> <br />· November training includes PdT with Officer Streieh and Firefighter Lecy instructing, <br /> Peds/OB and Confined Space Rescue. <br /> <br />· December 4th will be the General Knowledge drill. <br /> <br />· Officer Lemm listed the mandatory drills for 2003, there will also be four Chief's drills and <br /> physicals will take place on January 22"a. <br /> <br />· Fire Fighter I class is going well. The class attended a live bum in Baldwin. They did <br /> experience some problems with the air pacs and masks. <br /> <br />· The Department will have a First Responder class for firefighters completing Fire Fighter I. <br /> <br />UPCOMING EVENTS <br /> <br />· Station #2 will be a polling place for two precincts on Tuesday, November 05, 2002. <br /> <br />· Police ChiefGustafson is retiring, Jim Way will be the interim chief. <br /> <br />° December 5th is the 20th anniversary of the 911-phone system. <br /> <br />END OF YEAR FEEDBACK <br /> <br />Officers discussed what topics should be covered at the end of year interviews.
