I,ADDER TRUCK UPDATE <br /> <br />· No update at this time. <br /> <br />GRASS #2 REPLACEMENT <br /> <br />Firclighter Simpson reported on information he has received regarding the purchase of a <br />grass truck. <br /> <br />· ! [e checked with Departments of Anoka, Andover and Metro Fire. Officers discussed the <br /> options available. <br /> <br />'l'hc I)epartment will purchase the truck through State Bids. Firefighter Simpson will get <br />bids on an accessory package and the Department will discuss the truck at the March <br />Business Meeting. <br /> <br />The truck with accessories will be purchased under budget. <br /> <br />NARROW STREETS <br /> <br />An agreement was negotiated with Village of Sunfish Lake developers for the following <br />street widths; 28 feet with parking on one side; 20 feet for one-way streets; 16 feet for <br />divided road with no parking and 18 feet for one-way with no parking (private road). <br /> <br />S()G REVIEW <br /> <br />· l)uty O£ficer Responsibilities and Incident Command were changed in October. <br /> <br />Changes were made to the following SOGs; Services Provided, Vacation Leave & Policy, <br />f:irc I?ighter Requirements, Driving Emergency and Personal Vehicles, Rescue Personal <br />Injury Response, Lightening Strikes, Code 3 Response, Hydrant Use, Vehicle Maintenance <br />After Use and Fire Department and Personal Vehicle Response. <br /> <br />Thc l'ollowing SOGs were removed; Response to Long Driveways, Liquid Propane and <br />Chimney Fire. <br /> <br />Scl f Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Care and Usage will be reviewed when the new <br />equipment arrives. <br /> <br />SCBA <br /> <br />Thc equipment has been ordered and should be here in April. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/MARCH 2, 2003 <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
