Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-331 <br />APPROVING LEASE WITH MILLE LACS MOTOR SPORTS II, INC. FOR REAR <br />18,200 SQUARE FEET OF 6701 HWY 10 NW <br />WHEREAS, the Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is a growing business that currently <br />leases other properties in Ramsey and is in good standing; and <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc.; has asked the city to consider a 3 Period <br />lease, including an Option, in order to improve businesses efficiencies; for the rear portion of <br />6701 Hwy NW as depicted on the lease agreement (the "Lease Space"); and <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has agreed to the terms in the attached <br />Lease Agreement including but not limited to the terms below: <br />- Lease Period 1-December 1, 2021 — May 31, 2022 - $373.89 / month <br />- Lease Period 2 — June 1, 2022 — May 31, 2023 - $385.11 / month <br />- Option (Lease Period 3) June 1, 2023 — May 31 2024 - $396.66 / month. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Lease Agreement for 18,200 square <br />feet of cold storage in the rear of the building at 6701 Hwy 10 with Mille Lacs Motor <br />Sports II, Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
