CC Regular Session 5.5. <br />Meeting Date: 11/23/2021 <br />By: Colleen Lasher, Administrative <br />Services <br />Information <br />Title <br />Consider Recommendation to Terminate a City Employee <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is for the City Council to consider terminating Mr. Greg Lind's employment with the City <br />of Ramsey <br />The City Council met in closed session on November 9, 2021 regarding this matter. Staff discussed the matter with <br />the City Council and the City Attorney and it was the consensus of the City Council to move ahead with the <br />termination. It should be noted that the recommendation to terminate Mr. Lind is not related to performance; rather <br />the employee has not been actively at work since March 2021 and is no longer able to perform the essential <br />functions of the position.
