Elk River <br />Elk River regulates the number of allowable agricultural animals by animal units per acre. "One animal <br />unit per acre of fenced pasture land is allowed for properties 5 acres or larger, CUP required for properties <br />less than 5 acres to have agricultural animals." Animal type <br />and their corresponding animal unit can be found in Chapter 11 — Zoning — Section 11-4-15: Animals or <br />below. <br />There is a three acre minimum requirement, three animal units allowed of agricultural animals (including <br />ducks) with one additional unit per acre allowed.
