Some existing towers will need to be re-built. <br /> Agrccments also have to be worked out. <br /> <br />I}URNS TOWNSHIP <br /> <br />· Covcragc begins October 1 st Firefighters should drive around and get familiar with the area. <br /> Burns Township is 17 miles in length. <br /> <br />NATIONAL NIGHT OUT <br /> <br />Thanks to those who participated in National Night Out. Firefighters who participated <br />included Firefighters Amundson, Kohner, Wetterlind, Grega, Lemke and Gnerre. <br /> <br />UI'COMING EVENTS <br /> <br />There will be a terrorism drill in Coon Rapids on September 21st. It will include armed <br />terrorist, hazemat and a building collapse. Simultaneously there will be a situation in Ham <br />Lake. <br /> <br />ltappy Days is September 13th. There will be a sign up sheet on the board. The State Champ <br />^noka ttockey Team will use one truck, the Department can use as many trucks as there are <br />fircfighters who want to participate. <br /> <br />};ircfighter Simpson will be having a 40th birthday party on August 23rd. Flyer is on the <br />board. <br /> <br />· Alpine Drive between County Road #5 and Sunfish Lake Blvd. will be shut down one or two <br /> days sometime in August. It will be posted by the map. <br /> <br />Portions of County Road #64 will be closed beginning August 18th.
