Gcncral training is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8th, 8 a.m. to noon and 6 p.m. to 10 <br />p.m. Certification for operating the truck will need additional training with criteria being <br />established by the officers. Officers will obtain opinions from outside sources as to what the <br />criteria should be. <br /> <br />Thc l)epartment will have the track available for people to view before the City Council <br />meeting October 14th. QCTV will also be there. <br /> <br />GRASS #2 <br /> <br />· Thc track is ready fbr delivery to Willow River. Metro Fire will train on it at the same time it does the training on the new <br />compressor. <br /> <br />MDT <br /> <br />· ,Iohn Tonding is still working on it. <br /> <br />I~XCESS INVENTORY <br /> <br />· [lids lbr the excess inventory are now being taken at Station #2. The bid process ends on <br /> l:riday. <br /> <br />BURNS COVERAGE <br /> <br />· Coverage begins October 1st The dividing line for coverage was determined by 2800 and <br /> will be a straight line. <br /> <br />[Jntil the Board Chairman's name and number are received, calls should be reported to the <br />City Clerk (Cori) at 763-441-1347. <br /> <br />· Thc amount of water available in the trucks needs to be watched, if running low firefighters <br /> can always call Elk River or Oak Grove for additional water supply. <br /> <br />· O/'liccr Lcwandowski has maps for both stations and will order more for the tracks. <br /> <br />Thc Department will be called only for extrication on personal injury incidents, as the <br />Sheriff's Department warrants. The Sheriff's Department will handle any fines given for <br />illegal burns. <br /> <br />City ot' Ramsey calls take priority.
