When asked if firefighters would participate in alpha-numeric pagers if they Were free, most thought it would be a good idea. However, some thought there would be those who would not participate anyway. Thoughts on Station #2 were varied. Most like the upgrades that have been completed, painting etc, however firefighters feel cramped for space. Officers discussed sending an electronic calendar each week to the firefighters. Also, the Department will start an issue list for firefighter gear and pagers. Firefighters will sign for their equipment. SOG REVIEW · Officers should review the SOG's handed out, make changes in red ink and give their copy back to Chief Kapler by February 24th. Officers will discuss the SOG's at the next officers meeting. An SOG for RIT is needed as well as reviewing contracted services and how to incorporate equipment. I,OCKBOX UPDATE The Department is ready to start the Lockbox Program again. Some businesses are uncomfortable with the program, however, they could upgrade their lockbox to the Knox Box. MDT UPDATE The Logis representative and Jon Tonding worked all day Tuesday on getting the MDT hooked up. · Therc is a cable line that needs to be punched down before the hook up can be completed. 1SO UPDATE · Officer Streich has sent an e-mail to officers regarding what is reqUired for the ISO review. IS() requires certain equipment for the first truck out. ~l'tac Department needs to get the necessary equipment on the trucks, check each piece of hose, see how much hose there is and tag each one.
