· A rack or cage will be built on Grass #1 for the chainsaw. <br /> <br />· Four long boards were used in March and only 1 was replaced by Allina. <br />SCBA/P,q GERS <br /> <br />The buddy breather systems are off of the SCBA equipment. The bags are still there and on <br />a Maj or Maintenance night will be taken off. <br /> <br />Six Minetor pagers have arrived. <br /> <br />ISO information has been sent in. <br /> <br />New lock boxes for businesses have arrived as well as the key boxes for Engines #1 and #2 <br />and the Ladder Truck. <br /> <br />TURNOUT GEAR/MAPS <br /> <br />· Two new sets are in service. <br /> <br />° Spare gear will be kept at each station. <br /> <br />/ISSISTANT CHIEF LEMM UPDATE <br /> <br />° The old work bench will be taken out of the back room. <br /> <br />· The compressor room will be painted. <br /> <br />° Sixteen new tarps have been purchased as required by ISO. <br /> <br />° The 1 ½ and 1 ~A inch hose has been relabeled. <br /> <br />INCIDENT REPORT/ASSISTANT CHIEF HOXTER UPDATE <br /> <br />In March there were 27 calls, 6 were rescue, of which 1 was a CO and 21 were fire. There <br />were 14 day calls, 6 night calls, and 7 weekend calls. There were no Mutual Aid calls. <br /> <br />Year to date there have been 95 calls, 27 were rescue and 68 were fire of which 25 were <br />cancelled alarms. Them were 4 Mutual Aid calls. <br /> <br />Average response time for rescue calls in March was 5 minutes, average attendance was 10 <br />firefighters and average time on the scene was 38 minutes. <br /> <br />Average response time for fire calls in March was 6 minutes, average attendance was 10 <br />firefighters and average time on the scene was 33 minutes. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/APRIL 6, 2004 <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
