FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at <br />Ramsey Fire Station #1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 <br />p.m. There were eighteen firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />TR/t lNING <br /> <br />Officer Lecy reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br /> March training included Chief's Drill, BTLS Training and Physicals, ISO and Grass Truck <br /> Preparation and combination Major Maintenance and CPR. <br /> <br />· April training includes Ladder Truck Awareness, BTLS, and Pump Practice. <br /> <br />· May training includes Pump Testing using the two engines only, BTLS, and Water Rescue. <br />MA.]OR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter reviewed the Major Maintenance Report~ <br /> <br /> Continue to drain pumps completely. Valves are operating smoother because of this. <br /> <br /> Grass trucks are full of water. Grass #2 has a problem with the bar on the hose reel and <br /> exhaust needs repair. <br /> <br />· Chief Kapter will contact Metro Fire with concerns and questions with orders. <br /> <br />· Station floors need to be kept cleaned. <br /> <br />RADIO~%VPAGERSVSCBA <br /> <br />Officer Streich reviewed the Radios/Pagers/SCBA Report. <br /> <br /> The buddy breather systems are offofthe harnesses. The bags are still there and on a Major <br /> Maintenance night will be taken off. <br /> <br /> <br />
