Officer Minear reported the battery packs for the cordless tools and the defib were <br />switched out and that no medical supplies were used. <br />Officer Nelson is working on the replacement of the front drain valve on Engine <br />#2. The hose bed of Engine #2 is being worked on for the attack lines. The <br />current system isn't working and some cutting and grinding must occur to achieve <br />a better system. <br /> <br />Radias' and Pagers <br /> <br /> Officer Streich had nothing to report on radios and pagers. <br />· Will be receiving new head sets. <br />· SCBA #13 and #16 needs to be fixed and is still working on setting up class. <br /> <br />Turnout Gear <br /> <br />· Officer Lewandowski was not present at the meeting but his monthly audit report <br /> states as of October 26th boots are in need of replacement. The inventory is <br /> adequate. The wrong color helmet for Officer Weiss is being corrected and is on <br /> order. New firefighters were supplied with appropriate patches and pins. <br /> Checking into budget before ordering uniforms. <br />· Pictures and name plates are up to date. <br />· Maps are in each track. Mutual Aid maps for Anoka, Andover, Elk River, Bums <br /> and Oak Grove <br />· There are 25 Ramsey maps at each station. <br />· There have been 6 to 8 SCBA bottle purchases this year. <br /> <br />ASSISTANT CHIEF LEMM UPDATE <br /> <br />· Assistant ChiefLemm asked if the generator can be moved away from the door. <br />· The high volume hose goes on the ladder track. <br /> <br />INCIDENT REPOR T/ASSISTANT CHIEF HOXTER <br /> <br />In October there were 24 calls, 7 were rescue and 17 were fa'e, of which 2 were <br />C/O calls. There were 9 day calls, 12 night calls and 3 weekend calls of which 2 <br />were Burns Township. There was 1 Mutual Aid call, 4 cancelled alarms and 5 <br />Duty Officer calls. <br /> <br />Year to date there have been 332 calls, 235 were fire calls, 97 rescue and 59 <br />cancelled alarms. There were 10 Mutual Aid calls and 22 Bums Township calls. <br /> <br />UPCOMING EVENTS <br /> <br />· The general election is expecting a huge turnout. <br />· Officer Lewandowski is doing snowmobile safety. <br />· Joint meeting with spouses on November 29t~. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/NOVEMEBER 1, 2004 <br /> Page 4 of 5 ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
