~T <br />SAFE Y CONCERNS <br /> <br />Thc face shields have limited safety compliancy and that safety glasses should also be worn. <br /> <br />DNR BURNING RESTRICTIONS <br /> <br />Restrictions are effective April 4th. The bottom line is no variances will be issued. Officer <br />Strcich also asked when filling out the correction notice form to please be a specific as possible. <br /> <br />NEW E! RE FIGHTER UPDATE/ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Chief Kaplcr reported that all five fire fighters passed firefighter 1 state certification. <br />Officer Kohner is scheduling for more training and Chief Kapler would like to see additional <br />pump training and experience before driving response. It was also discussed there is a greater <br />need lot' firefighters on the east side of town. A date of Monday, May 9th at 7:00 p.m was set for <br />tile infimnational meeting and the Fire Station was available for that evening. Advertising <br />resources will be through cable television, the city message board and web site. <br /> <br />BASE RADIO UPDATE <br /> <br />Officer Streich reported that the radios are installed but the speakers still have some minor <br />problems that need to be corrected. <br /> <br />GRASS TRUCK UPDATE <br /> <br />Officcr Weiss reported the soonest the grass truck will be ready is Wednesday and the latest <br />Friday. <br /> <br />VEitlCLE NUMBERS <br /> <br />Officer Lcwandowski will verify the vehicle number assignments at Station #1 and Assistant <br />(qfieF Lemm will review the number assignments at Station #2.
