RA DIO37PA GERS/SCBA <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reported that base radios installation is complete and the speakers are corrected, <br />Burns has excessive inventory of old radios and they will be dividing them up. <br /> <br />SMALL IOOL3VMEDICAL <br /> <br />Officer Minear reported the battery packs for the cordless tools and the defib are charged and <br />ready. Bottled water inventory is good and there are no smalI tool/engine issues. There were no <br />medical supplies used. <br /> <br />TURNOUT G ,FAR <br /> <br />Officer Lewandowski stated a major purchase order has been requested for new firefighter mm <br />out gear and there were no uniform issues. <br /> <br />INCIDENT REPORT/ASSISTANT CHIEF HOXIER <br /> <br />In March there were 30 calls, 5 were rescue and 5 duty officer calls. Them were 16 day <br />calls, 5 night calls and 14 weekend calls. There was 1 mutual aid call and 7 canceled <br />alarms. <br /> <br />Year to date there have been 85 calls, 12 were rescue and 73 were fire of which 8 were <br />cancelled alarms, 13 mutual aid, 16 duty officer, 4 extrication and 7 Bums. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />Dry season reminder. Try to use safety glasses with helmets because the flip down shields don't <br />offer full protection. Officer Lewandowski is checking into mounted goggle options. Chief <br />Kapler is pursuing the warning lights at Fire Station 1. <br /> <br />NEXT OFFICER MEETING <br /> <br />On-site townhome development response in confined spaces scheduled for May 2ha.
