We do have latitude with line items, however, <br /> not the bottom line. OSHA might be changing the requirements for SCBA harnesses and <br /> upgrading would be a major expense; that's not covered in this budget. <br /> <br />MINIMUM TRAINING LEVELS <br /> <br />· This is still being discussed. <br /> <br />NEW FIREFIGHTERS <br /> <br />Four new firefighters will be starting April 8, 1998. <br /> <br />Employment history forms will have the date an employee joined the fire department and <br />discussion ensued as to how the forms would be used and who would be involved in using <br />and updating them. <br /> <br />COMMITTEES <br /> <br />· The truck committee will visit fire departments in St. Francis and Zimmerman to look at their <br /> fire trucks and get specs.
