Year to date there have been one hundred calls; thirty-three rescue and sixty- <br /> seven fire, with $1,202,750 in damage. <br /> <br />DUTY OFFICERS/WEEKEND COVERAGE <br /> <br />· May duty officers will be Jim Sharp and Jori McLaughlin. <br /> <br />· Holiday weekend coverage will be as follows: <br /> <br />Opening Fishing <br />Memorial Weekend <br />4th of July <br />Labor Day <br />Opening Duck Hunting <br />Opening Deer Hunting <br /> <br />Dean Kepler <br />Chris Weiss <br />Bob Simpson <br />Jon McLaughlin <br />Jim Sharp <br />Tom Hoxter <br /> <br />· Officers may switch coverage days among themselves. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />· Fire fighters need to watch their driving on the way to the station for calls. <br /> <br />· First fire fighters at the scene need to verify the call by radioing a company alarm. <br />MINIMUM TRAINING LEVELS <br /> <br /> Discussion ensued as to maximum vacation time allowed and how it should be regulated. <br /> We need to come up with something fair, however, the main concern is that we need people <br /> here and trained. <br /> <br />NEW FIRE FIGHTERS <br /> <br />,, Still within the ninety day orientation time frame. <br /> <br />° They are able to apply to the Fire Relief Association. <br /> <br />· Pre Fire Fighter I discussion due July 1, 1998. <br /> <br /> Completion of Fire Fighter I and First Responder needs to be done.
