· A thank you was extended by Chief Kapler to all who helped with the cleaning. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />· W/Il review propane fire later on in the meeting. <br /> <br />NEW APPLICANTS ORIENTATION DAY <br /> <br />There will be an informational meeting for those interested in the Fire Department on <br />Saturday, July 11, 1998, at 8:30 a.m. <br /> <br />One new recruit is needed to do a presentation on the training schedule. <br /> <br />COMMITTEES <br />STol TION #2 <br /> <br />Dean Kapler, Tom Hoxter and Steve Jankowski interviewed the architects for the new <br />station. SEH is the company awarded the bid. <br /> <br />There are some issues with the land that need to be settled before building can begin. <br /> <br />ENGINE #3 <br /> <br />· A generic spec listing is being typed so companies will be able to bid on a truck. <br /> <br />· The new station will have overhead storage and high volume well. <br /> <br />· A Fire Board meeting will be held once the specs are ready to discuss the station and engine <br /> purchase. The department would like to bring the new station and engine information to the <br /> July 28, 1998 council meeting. <br /> <br />ANNUAL PHYSICALS <br /> <br />· Annual physicals will be done on August 5, 1998.
