Brian Abbott is starting his first responder class this month. <br /> <br />· Training records have been completed for 1997 and 1998 and will be available for review at <br /> the first Business Meeting in 1999. <br /> <br />· A new roster has been made, putting both AM and PM classes on one form. Firefighters will <br /> circle which class they attended and initial. <br /> <br />NEW FIREFIGHTER UPDATE <br /> <br />· Chief Kapler updated the officers group on what the new firefighters have completed and <br /> what still needs to be completed. <br /> <br />· Nick Damyanovich is moving and will be leaving the Department. <br /> <br />MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />C, hicf Kapler reviewed the Major Maintenance. <br /> <br />· Grass rigs need to be emptied. <br /> <br /> Pumps are drained. Pumps should be opened at the scene. <br /> <br />· Garbage line should be double donut rolled. <br /> <br />· The Department will check with Northern to see what they have for a pressure wash. <br /> RADIOS/PAGERS/TURNOUT GEAR/MAPS <br /> <br />· Chief Kapler reported that a City map with addresses has been ordered and will be available <br /> shortly. <br /> <br />· The radio channels list has been put on the last hand held. <br /> <br />,, Turnout gear will be looked at for repairs needed. <br /> <br />]INCIDENT REPORT <br /> <br />· Jon McLaughlin reviewed the incident report. <br /> <br />· tn December there were thirty calls, of which, twelve were rescue, eighteen were fire.
