· An Exposure Control Plan is in the process of being drafted jointly by the Police and Fire <br /> Departments, however, the Fire Department's procedures are more intense. <br /> <br />STATION #2 UPDATE <br /> <br />The Department will obtain information on the possible use of 155th extension for a station. <br /> <br />TRUCK COMMITTEE UPDATE <br /> <br />° The specs for the new truck need to be more generic and the committee will attempt to have <br /> them ready for the February 23, 1999, City Council meeting. <br /> <br />HANDOUTS <br /> <br />A handout on possible DNR burning restrictions in the Spring and on Spill Control on the <br />Mississippi were distributed. <br /> <br />TOT FINDER PURCHASE <br /> <br />Chief Kapler has ordered Tot Finder stickers to supply to residents at no charge. These <br />stickers are put on the outside window of toddlers' bedrooms. One draw back to using these <br />stickers is that people will know there are young children in the home. <br /> <br />Y2K DISCUSSION <br /> <br />There will be a Y2K discussion at Connexus on April 29, 1999. It will cover how 2800 is <br />preparing for Y2K. The Department is prepared. <br /> <br />ANOKA COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION COUNCIL UPDATE <br /> <br />· Health span is sending supervisors to northern areas to assist with response calls. <br /> <br />There will be a mutual aid drill sometime in April. It will involve Oak Grove, Ramsey and <br />Anoka Fire Departments.
