· Four new pagers have been ordered. A second tone is available with them, however, the <br /> officers have decided not to use that option. <br /> <br />· A quote for a new battery charger is being obtained. If cell phone batteries can be charged <br /> on it, the Department can use it for charging their phones. <br /> <br />~, The reflective trim on the turnout gear needs repair. <br /> <br />INCIDENT REPORT <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the incident report. <br /> <br />· There has been $17,000 in damage year to date. <br /> <br />· Jon is looking into software for running the State reports. <br /> <br />MEDICAL/SCBA <br /> <br />Chris Weiss reviewed the Medical/SCBA report. <br /> <br />° Make sure the medical supply inventory sheets are filled out for Engine One and Two. <br /> <br />· All the PALS are installed on Engine One. There are five all together. <br /> <br />· Mask use needs to be documented. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />· PAR systems need to be activated. <br /> <br />· The fire fighters received an anthrax handout. Abortion clinics and doctors seem to be the <br /> target. There have been no legitimate incidents in Minnesota. <br /> <br />· A random drivers license and insurance check will be done on one third of the Department. <br /> <br />° Regulations on locates will be changed because of the explosion in St. Cloud. The area will <br /> expand allowing for deflection. There is a new pipeline going through the City along side <br /> the old line. <br /> <br />TICKETING/ILLEGAL BURNS <br /> <br /> The duty officers are allowed to carry a ticket book and write tickets for illegal bums. There <br /> are no real positives in carrying around a ticket book.
