MEDICAL SCBA <br /> <br />Officer Weiss reviewed the Medical/SCBA report. <br /> The defibrillator battery has been changed. <br /> <br /> Miscellaneous supplies have been pulled for a duty officer bag. <br /> <br /> Gloves have been ordered. Officer Weiss will look into purchasing something to keep the <br /> gloves in. <br /> <br />· The compressor filter is still on back order. <br /> <br />· Cascade System has been drained and refilled. <br /> <br />· Discussion ensued as to what type of extrication equipment should be purchased or if current <br /> equipment should be replaced. The Ramsey Lions will donate funds to help purchase this <br /> equipment. They will need a formal written request to make the donation. <br /> <br />FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />· There are a few tickets out that need to be turned in for the tractor raffle. <br /> <br />· The Department has the opportunity to help the Ramsey Lions sell corn at the Anoka <br /> Riverfest Festival on July 17th, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. The profits would be shared 50/50. The <br /> Department would need only three or four people to help for half a day. <br /> <br />SPECIAL RECOGNITION <br /> <br />· Fire Fighter Sinner took the initiative and moved the flashlight in Tanker One. <br /> <br />· Fire Fighter Ostrum has been doing a great job selling tractor raffle tickets. <br /> <br />TOPICS FOR NEXT MONTH <br /> <br />· Money is available for management training. September would be a good time for this <br /> training.
