January 10, 2022 Contact: Erik Thorson, Communications Director, 763-324-4612, or e-mail: Erik.Thorson@co.anoka.mn.us FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Commissioner Mike Gamache Named to Anoka County Committees Commissioner Mike Gamache was named chair of the Parks and Information Technology (IT) committees and vice chair of the Property Records and Taxation committee at the Jan. 4 Anoka County Board of Commissioners organizational meeting. He will serve on the Finance and Capital Improvements and Web Oversight committees as well as the Community Corrections Advisory Board, the Anoka County Regional Railroad Authority, and the Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority. Gamache will represent Anoka County on the Metropolitan Emergency Services Board (MESB), MetroGIS Policy, and Metropolitan Mosquito Control District boards. In addition, Gamache is an alternate on the Metro Alliance for Healthy Families Governing Board, the Regional Haulers Licensing Board, and the Northwest Anoka County Community Consortium/Youth First Community of Promise. He is on the MESB Executive committee, the Association of Minnesota Counties (AMC) Environment and Natural Resources Policy committee, is an AMC District 10 voting delegate, a second alternate voting delegate for the 2022 National Association of Counties Annual Conference and the Anoka County Historical Society liaison. chair of both the Parks and IT committees as well as the vice chair of the Property Tax committee forward to a productive 2022 working with this dedicated group of Anoka County employees.
