· A six-inch D handle pike pole has been ordered. <br /> <br />· A possible future purchase would be a thermal imaging camera. <br />I~Ai)IOS/PAGERS/TURNOUT GEAR/MAPS <br /> <br />Officer Sharp reviewed the Radios/Pagers/Turnout Gear/Maps report. <br /> <br />· Five pagers will be sent out for repair. The wrong knobs for the Minitor III were sent. An <br /> exchange is taking place. <br /> <br />· More gloves have been ordered. <br /> <br />· Three firefighters have been sent for portraits. <br /> <br />· Paperwork has been started for the purchase of six pairs of boots. <br /> <br />· There has been a delay at the factory with the turnout gear. Dates have to be put on the <br /> labels for the new NFPA guidelines of five-year replacement. <br /> <br />· Officer Sharp will put some mittens in the Engines for the winter months. <br /> <br />· Radios are marked and Officer Sharp is working on a procedure to sign them out. <br /> <br />g/IA,/OR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the Major Maintenance report. <br /> <br />· The gas fan for Engine #2 has been ordered and received. <br /> <br />· Custom will repair the foam pro unit on Engine #2. <br /> <br />· Officer Simpson will check the valve that is malfunctioning on Engine #2. <br />· Emergency Apparatus will be here for the annual pump certification. <br />· Engine #1 has new batteries. <br /> <br />· A pump fitting was replaced on Grass #1. <br /> <br /> Grass #2 will go to Elk River Ford to have the carburetor adjusted. <br /> Officers discussed the toolbox and what types of tools to purchase. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/OCTOBER 3, 2000 <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
