Council Update Recycle Holiday Lights. The Ramsey Municipal Center will be serving as a drop-off location for recycling holiday lights. All strands of holiday lights, whether they work or not, can be dropped off at the Ramsey Municipal Center (7550 Sunwood Drive NW) during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm) beginning December 1 through the end of January, 2022. All light strands will be recycled and there is no cost to residents for this service. Please remember that while strands of holiday lights are recyclable, they cannot be placed in your curbside recycling cart. Please remove light strands from any plastic framing/shapes before dropping them off. Help Keep Snow Away From Fire Hydrants - Please help keep snow away from fire hydrants. Snow piled close to hydrants restricts operation during a fire emergency. After a snowfall, the Public Works Department is responsible for clearing snow from City streets. Depending on the amount and type of snow, this could take several days. The City is requesting your help in keeping our fire hydrants accessible. Please clear a four-foot circle around the hydrant near your home to ensure easy access for our Fire Department. For questions, call Utilities Supervisor John Nelson at 763-433-9861. Please join us for Mayor Kuzma’s 2022 State of the City Address on Tuesday, February 8, 7:00 pm in the Ramsey City Hall Council Chambers, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW. In his presentation, Mayor Kuzma will provide a review of City operations, updates and achievements from 2021, as well as a look ahead at what the City of Ramsey is working on in 2022.  RESCHEDULED: Annual Holiday Employee Recognition Event.
