Councihnember <br /> <br />__ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-09-XXX <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PIlE PARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05- <br />02 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL AMBER RIDGE, BONA ADDITION, CEDAR <br />IIILLS, CEDAR HILLS 2m), CEDAR HILLS 3p'~, CHESTNUT HILL, CHESTNUT HILL <br />2~''~>, CHESTNUT HILL 3~m, CHESTNUT HILL 4TM, CHESTNUT HILL 5TM, CHESTNUT <br />POND, CHESTNUT RIDGE, PONDVALE ESTATES, PONDVALE ESTATES 2m), <br />RAMSEY COMMONS 2m>, RAMSEY MEADOWS, RAMSEY MEADOWS 2~), <br />SECTION 24 (UNPLATTED), SECTION 26 (UNPLATTED), SUNFISH SQUARE, <br />SUNFISH SQUARE 2N", SUNNY PONDS, SUNNY PONDS 2m), SUNNY PONDS 3a~, <br />WlNDEMERE WOODS, WINDEMERE WOODS 2Nh, WOOD POND HILLS, WOOD <br />POND HILLS 2m>, WOOD POND HILLS 3}m, WOOD POND HILLS 4TM, WOOD POND <br />It ! 1A ~S 5TM) <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the <br />Scalcoat and Crackfill of Amber Ridge, Bona Addition, Cedar Hills, Cedar Hills 2nd, Cedar Hills <br />3~d, Chestnut Hill, Chestnut Hill 2~d, Chestnut Hill 3rd, Chestnut Hill 4th, Chestnut Hill 5th, <br />Chestnut Pond, Chestnut Ridge, Pondvale Estates, Pondvale Estates 2nd, Ramsey Commons 2nd, <br />Ramscy Meadows, Ramsey Meadows 2~d , Section 24 (unplatted), Section 26 (unplatted), <br />Stt~ll'ish Square, Sunfish Square 2nd, Sunny Ponds, Sunny Ponds 2nd, Sunlly Ponds 3rd, <br />Windemerc Woods, Windemere Woods 2nd, Wood Pond Hills, Wood Pond Hills 2nd, Wood Pond <br />Hills 3''d, Wood Pond Hills 4th, Wood Pond Hills 5th, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred <br />in the making of such improvement amount to $129,864 so that the total cost of the improvement <br />will bc $129,864. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is <br />hcreby declared to be $64,932 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited <br />property owners is declared to be $64,932. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the principal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a <br />period of three years; the first of the installments to be payable on or before December 31, <br />2005, and shall bear interest, per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment <br />resolution, at the rate of two (2) percent above the U.S. Treasury Rate. <br /> <br />That the City Administrator shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for <br />such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district <br />affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file in the city <br />o rices a copy of such proposed assessment for public inspection. <br /> <br />Resolution #05-09-XXX <br /> 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
