Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-09-XXX <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-02 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL AMBER <br />RIDGE, BONA ADDITION, CEDAR HILLS, CEDAR HILLS 2Nt~, CEDAR HILLS 3m), <br />CIIESTNUT HILL, CHESTNUT HILL 2ND, CHESTNUT HILL 3RD, CHESTNUT HILL <br />4TM, CHESTNUT HILL 5TM, CHESTNUT POND, CHESTNUT RIDGE, PONDVALE <br />ESTATES, PONDVALE ESTATES 2N~), RAMSEY COMMONS 2Nt~, RAMSEY <br />MEADOWS, RAMSEY MEADOWS 2m), SECTION 24 (UNPLATTED), SECTION 26 <br />(UNI'lJATTED), SUNFISH SQUARE, SUNFISH SQUARE 2Nr~, SUNNY PONDS, SUNNY <br />PONDS 2m), SUNNY PONDS 3at), WlNDEMERE WOODS, WINDEMERE WOODS 2m), <br />WOOD POND HILLS, WOOD POND HILLS 2ND, WOOD POND HILLS 3m), WOOD <br />POND ItlLLS 4TM, WOOD POND HILLS 5TM) <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, by Resolution 05-09-XXX the City Council on September 13th, 2005, the City <br />Administrator was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improvements to <br />Amber Ridge, Bona Addition, Cedar Hills, Cedar Hills 2nd, Cedar Hills 3rd, Chestnut Hill, <br />Chcsmut Hill 2"d, Chestnut Hill 3''d, Chestnut Hill 4th, Chestnut Hill 5th, Chestnut Pond, Chestnut <br />Ridge, Pondvale Estates, Pondvale Estates 2nd, Ramsey Commons 2nd, Ramsey Meadows, <br />Ramscy Meadows 2nd , Section 24 (unplatted), Section 26 (unplatted), Sunfish Square, Sunfish <br />Square 2''°, Smmy Ponds, Sunny Ponds 2ha, Sunny Ponds 3~, Windemere Woods, Windemere <br />Woods 2''d, Wood Pond Hills, Wood Pond Hills 2~a, Wood Pond Hills 3~d, Wood Pond Hills 4th, <br />Wood Pond Hills 5m); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed <br />assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW TltEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />I) <br /> <br />That a Public Hearing shall be held on September 27, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Fire <br />Station, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such <br />time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an <br />opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />q'hat the City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br />proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br />prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement~ He <br />shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br />assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />assessment by the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br />interest accrued to the date of payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged <br /> <br />Resolution #05-09-XXX <br /> 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
