CASE # <br /> <br />LIONS APPLICATION FOR A ONE-DAY 3.2 BEER LICENSE <br /> By: Jo Thieling, City Clerk <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />'l'hc Ramscy Lions have applied for a one-day, 3.2 beer licenses, for a one-day event - Happy <br />I)ays, flit City of Ramsey's community celebration. The sales will take place on the City Hall <br />campus. Thc celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2005. The Lions have <br />provided the necessary documents required. Under City Code, it is a permissible activity to <br />grant a 3.2 beer license to the Ramsey Lions Club. <br /> <br />As has been clone in the past, City staff is requesting Council waive the $50 license fee. The <br />l~ions Club is non-profit and generously gives to the community. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve/not approve application for the Ramsey Lions Club for a one-day, 3.2 beer <br />licenses lbr Happy Days, the City of Ramsey community celebration to be held on Saturday, <br />September 17, 2005.
