We are recommending that thc Formal adoption occur at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, December 13, 2005. ~l'hc public hearing dates must be certified to Anoka County by Thursday, September 15, 2005; therefore, the City Council must make a decision as to the dates selected for the 2006 public heariug(s) at tonights meeting. Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends Council approval of the City of Ramsey's payable 2006 proposed tax lew in the amount of $7,387,486 and to schedule the City of Ramsey's initial budget public hearing on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) on Monday, I)eccmbcr 12, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. Committee Action: Motion to recommend Council adopt Resolution #05-09-XX Approving the Proposed Maximum 2005, Payable 2006, Tax Levy.
