CC Regular Session 5. 12. <br />Meeting Date: 01/25/2022 <br />By: Mark Riverblood, Engineering/Public <br />Works <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #22-034, Declaring Play Equipment at Two Parks Surplus Property for Removal and Disposal <br />Purpose/Background: <br />At the regular January Park and Recreation Commission meeting, the Commission acknowledged the two <br />playgrounds recommended for removals pursuant to the recently adopted Playground Replacement Policy. The <br />attached resolution declares the two play equipment structures surplus property, which is the proper administrative <br />form to dispose of public property. <br />Separate from these two parks, the Commission also directed Staff to mail an invitation to 89 neighbors of Rabbit <br />Park to ascertain their desires for the removal, and potential replacement of the play equipment there, thus <br />implementing the new policy.
