MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />AND <br />LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES - PATROL <br />ARTICLE NOT ASSIGNED M.O.U. POST EMPLOYMENT HCSP <br />January 1, 20222021 to December 31, 20242021as described below: <br />This Memorandum of Understanding is made between the City of Ramsey ("City") and Law <br />Enforcement Labor Services ("Union.") <br />WHEREAS, the City and the Union are parties to a 2020 collective bargaining <br />agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, Law Enforcement Labor Services Patrol Union employees are eligible to <br />participate in the Minnesota Post Employment Health Care Savings Plan (HCSP) established <br />under Minnesota Statues, section 352.98 (Minn. Supp. 2001) and as outlined in the Minnesota <br />State Retirement System's Trust and Plan Documents; and <br />WHEREAS, all funds collected by the employer (City of Ramsey) on the behalf of the <br />employee will be deposited into the employee's post -employment health care savings plan <br />account; and <br />WHEREAS, all LELS-Patrol Officers have agreed to contribute an ongoing percent of <br />pay and shall contribute 2% of gross pay; and <br />WHEREAS, employees will be responsible for the administrative fees. <br />THEREFORE, the parties met, negotiated and agreed upon the following: <br />Effective January 1, 2022 2021 December 31, 2024 42024 Law Enforcement Labor Services <br />Patrol Union employees are eligible to participate in the Minnesota Post Employment Health <br />Care Savings Plan (HCSP) established under Minnesota Statues, section 352.98 (Minn. Supp. <br />2001) and as outlined in the Minnesota State Retirement System's Trust and Plan Documents. <br />All funds collected by the employer (City of Ramsey) on the behalf of the employee will be <br />deposited into the employee's post -employment health care savings plan account.
