PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS, Scott Cords passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, Scott Cords, a Ramsey resident, was very active in his community and the surrounding area; and <br />WHEREAS, Scott Cords was very civic -minded, and served admirably in the role of an Election Judge for the City of <br />Ramsey since 2014, and most recently as Head Election Judge for Precinct 2-2; and <br />WHEREAS, Scott Cords was an active member of the City of Ramsey Economic Development Association (EDA) <br />since 2019, and was recently elected to serve as EDA Chair; and <br />WHEREAS, Scott Cords held the position of treasurer in the Senate District 35 Republican Basic Political Organiza- <br />tion Unit (BPOU) and was an active and engaged citizen; and <br />WHEREAS, Scott Cords was passionate about volunteering for TLC Toys and devoted his energy to fundraising, mak- <br />ing toys, delivering toys and any other tasks to support this charitable organization: and <br />WHEREAS, Scott Cords was, above all, a beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather; and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Ramsey desires to recognize the outstanding contributions of Scott <br />Cords to the Ramsey community. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby proclaims February 10, 2022, as <br />Scott Cords Day <br />in the City of Ramsey to honor his memory and in recognition for all he has done for the Community. <br />Mayor Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember Chris Riley Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br />Councilmember Ryan Heineman Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br />Councilmember Dan Specht Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br />
