17. ~l'hat on June 23, 2005, the Ramsey Board of Adjustment adopted findings of fact and a <br /> resolution denying the request for variance. <br /> <br />18. That on July 1, 2005, the City received a written appeal of the Board of Adjustment's <br /> decision and requested to be heard by the City Council. <br /> <br />19. That il' granted, the variance will permit a density that is prohibited in the R-2 Medium <br /> l)cnsity District. <br /> <br />20. ri'Dar it' granted, the variance will violate the intent of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />21. 'l'hat, if granted, the variance will grant the Applicant a special privilege that is denied to <br /> other owners of land in the same district. <br /> <br />22. 'l'hat the special conditions causing the undue hardship do result from the actions of the <br /> Applicant. <br /> <br />23. ~l'hat it' granted, the variance will be materially detrimental to the purposes of the Ramsey <br /> Zoning Chapter. <br /> <br />24. 'I'hat il' granted, the variance will substantially increase the congestion of public streets, or <br /> incrcasc the danger of fire, or endanger the public safety, or substantially impair property <br /> values within the neighborhood. <br /> <br />ri'he motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />()1 son, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councihnember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />( ;ouncilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and tiao tbilowing voted against: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and the Following abstained: <br /> <br />'None <br /> <br />and the l'ollowing were absent: <br /> <br />(',ouncilmember Strommen <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-208 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
