C,)unci Imember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-242 <br /> <br />RES()LUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $35,000 FROM THE LANDFILL <br />TIPPIN~; FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND TO ENGAGE THE SERVICES OF <br />PETERSON ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING INC. FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />CONDUCTING A WETLANDS INVENTORY AND ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, At the Environmental Policy Board meeting of June 20, 2005 the EPB <br />recommended that Peterson Environmental Consulting Inc be engaged to conduct a wetlands <br />inventory and assessment for Ramsey[ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund allows funds to be transferred to the General <br />Fund t:or costs associated with environmental services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council authorized a $35,000 transfer to the General Fund to retain the <br />services {>f Peterson Environmental Consulting, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) ri'hat the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the services of Peterson <br /> l';nvironmental Consulting Inc, in the amount of $35,000, to conduct a wetlands inventory <br /> and assessment. <br />2) b'unding will be p/rovided by a transfer from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund to the General <br /> trund in the amount of $35~000. <br /> <br />Thc motion fbr the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cook and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the t~llowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />amd the lbllowing abstained: <br /> <br />ri)Fie <br /> <br /> <br />
