Now nny3kids (ages:2,4,and G)love that same slide | grew upwith <br />and it is a place they love to visit too and being that I'm a teacher and have summers off, we visit the park most days. <br />Asfor ideas for the park, |think playgroundequipnmentvvou|dbenefbtheneighborhondnnnnethananature-basedp|ay <br />just because vveall have such big yards tnexplore nature in. Mykids enjoy having slides that are both big and small. <br />They also enjoy the tube slide and the slider they can bepushed along. K8y6year old said some sort nfspinning <br />equipment like they have athis school would befun oratire swing. K4ykids are climbers sohaving climbing equipment <br />orarock wall vvoukdbe something tnconsider. | think having equipment for both toddlers and older kids would benefit <br />many ifthe young families asthe park grows with these kids. Asamom, | appreciate the park bench and picnic tables <br />when vvevisit. <br />As for the baseball field, the city never fully finished it when the park was put in when I was a kid. Itrarely has been <br />used over the years. I'm not sure if it would ever be used, but I see many young teenagers still venture to the park to <br />chat with friends so exploring ideas to benefit those kids might be something the city considers. <br />In closing, since moving into the neighborhood, I notice'many young families are moving into this older neighborhood as <br />original homeowners are retiring and moving. | think that many kids vvou|dbedisappointed ifthe park they loved was <br />no longer a park, so I hope we can continue to make it be a place for kids to play in the neighborhood.
